ROBERTSONS’ DUCK COMMANDER, BUCK COMMANDER FRANCHISES DEBUT NEW FASHION LINES

A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” family enters partnership with 81Eighty Promotions, licensing arm of Dallas Cowboys

ARLINGTON, Texas -- (January 15, 2015) – The Robertson Family’s Duck Commander and Buck Commander franchises have entered into an exclusive partnership with 81Eighty Promotions, the phenomenally successful licensing arm of the Dallas Cowboys, to produce two new clothing lines. The Robertson’s and 81Eighty will debut the new Commander Life® and Commander Gear® lines at select retailers in the fall of 2015.

Willie Robertson, CEO of Duck Commander shares, “The Duck Commander brand has represented quality since 1972, so when it came to creating a lifestyle clothing line, we wanted to marry that comfort with that standard of excellence.”

The separate Commander lines, which will both offer men’s and women’s selections, are designed by the Robertsons to evoke the family’s renown outdoors-oriented lifestyle founded from Duck Commander that has become synonymous with quality in the outdoor space for decades. Since 2012, the Robertson family has captured the imagination of millions of fans since the debut of their wildly successful A&E “Duck Dynasty” reality series and rise to nationwide celebrity.

The Commander Life line will be fashion-focused with modern styles, color and cuts that still retain a timeless feel. The Commander Gear line will focus on the more active and technical side of apparel and accessories.

The Robertsons have become some of America’s most recognizable and beloved personalities since the debut of “Duck Dynasty” with a variety of merchandising lines in key retailers across the country. The Monroe, Louisiana-based family’s patriarch, Phil, founded the Duck Commander line of duck calls in 1972. The announcement expands the visibility of the Duck Commander brand in the Texas marketplace yet again after the recent Duck Commander Texas 500.

The Dallas-based 81Eighty Promotions is the company behind the top-selling Dallas Cowboys apparel franchise. The four-year-old company also manages the USC license, creating and manufacturing the iconic university’s apparel and merchandise lines.

3292 Brands LLC brokered the deal and will manage it.
